Baking on a Lazy Afternoon

After the heaviest course load and most stressful term of my school life, I came out of exams feeling like a winner. And with so much more free time on my hands, I decided to explore my (underrated) culinary side.

I have a soft spot for baking that stems from my sweet tooth, but I have a habit of never taking the "during" photos...You know how people with amazing food blogs have the whole "1-2-3 step" down? Yes, you know what I'm talking about. The first photo=eggs. The second photo=flour+eggs. The third photo=flour+eggs mixedWell, due to my extremely low/non-existent level of patience, I can't do that. Instead, I like to bake as fast as I can, and then take the AFTER photos, which is precisely what I did this hot afternoon...21 degrees? Feels like 30 to me.

This was my second time baking banana bread these past two months and it came out looking absolutely gorgeous, so I decided it would be the perfect time to document this moment. Some people like to take photos of their children, I just take pictures of the food I make...

  1. haha YES. I can't take "during" photos either! I'll get all ready to post a makeup tutorial or something on my blog, and then I realize I only have an after photo. Woops. #bloggerproblems I am the most impatient person ever!

    1. I thought I was the only one with this problem! And the worst part is...I remember halfway through to take pictures, but then I figure since I missed the first half I might as well skip it all together HAHA...oh man..

  2. Yeeaa , I stand up for your "during" statement . I usually take two photos , before cooking & after cooking "the meal" ;D
